Being basically a shy person, it has been a bit of a mixture of being an extravert while having a great deal of gratitude for the honour of being in front of an audience, having their attention, engaging with them and feeling their warmth. It's like nothing else - a wonderful feeling enhanced by the interaction with other musicians, carrying on a flowing language of music - an amazing experience and a great privilege.
